Our Story

Founded by Robert Morss following his presidential pardon by President Donald J. Trump, LeggoMan Productions exists because stories shape nations. Built to form the next generation of cultural warriors and leaders, the company is committed to truth, excellence, and the defense of liberty for centuries to come. LeggoMan tells bold, uncompromising stories—without bowing to Hollywood’s gods. We refuse to trade truth for access, conviction for applause, or excellence for ideological approval, choosing instead to build films that endure beyond trends, politics, and cultural intimidation.

Mission

Our Purpose

LeggoMan Productions is committed to reclaiming culture through the power of film. Our mission is simple yet bold: to go on the offensive with righteous indignation, providing an irresistible alternative to Hollywood so that our nation and the next generation will once again have a consistently growing list of honorable men and women to model themselves after. Every project we take on is rooted in our devotion to Jesus Christ, our love of liberty, and our conviction that film can be used to liberate people from the tyranny of sin and despotism.

We believe stories shape civilizations. For too long, Hollywood has wielded the power of storytelling to corrupt, demoralize, and distort. Instead of producing tales of honor, courage, and faith, they have normalized decadence, mocked virtue, and elevated false idols. This cultural collapse is not accidental — it’s deliberate. The result? Generations of young men and women growing up without true heroes to emulate, without noble ideals to pursue, and without stories that point them toward God.

We are here to change that.

Robert Morss

Principal / Founder and
Executive Producer

Robert Morss leads LeggoMan Productions’ strategic vision, partnerships, and development slate.

A former U.S. Army Ranger, Morss served three combat deployments in Afghanistan during the post-9/11 wars. The leadership discipline, resilience, and mission-first mindset forged during those years continue to define his approach to filmmaking and entrepreneurship. After returning home, he earned his degree from Penn State University through the G.I. Bill and later served as a high-school educator—reflecting a longstanding commitment to civic responsibility and the next generation of Americans.

In 2021, Morss became a nationally recognized figure following his arrest in connection with the January 6 events. The case drew widespread public attention and unexpectedly placed him at the center of a national cultural conversation. During that period, the nickname “The Lego Man” emerged in the media and public discourse, a reference that would later inspire the founding identity of LeggoMan Productions. The God of the Bible is in the business of re-naming men. In Latin, Legoman means “I assemble and anoint men.” Robert is just such a man.

For Morss, that moment became a turning point rather than an endpoint. Drawing on his experiences in combat, education, and public life, he began developing film projects that explore themes of faith, conscience, sacrifice, and national identity—stories grounded in lived experience and aimed at audiences who feel underserved by traditional Hollywood narratives.

As a founder, Morss is known for his extraordinary work ethic and relentless ability to build networks of support. He is rarely off the phone, constantly cultivating relationships and forging new partnerships across the worlds of entertainment, politics, media, and business. Colleagues often describe him as operating with the intensity of a campaign architect—bringing together investors, creatives, and cultural leaders around projects that carry both commercial and cultural significance.

That instinct for coalition-building has helped him assemble a rapidly expanding network of collaborators and supporters around LeggoMan Productions. Morss approaches filmmaking not only as an artistic endeavor, but as a platform for reaching large and passionate audiences through stories that speak to identity, conviction, and the defining questions of the American moment.

Grounded in his Christian faith and shaped by military service, Morss brings authenticity, leadership, and strategic vision to the company he founded. Through LeggoMan Productions, he is building a slate of films designed to resonate far beyond the screen—projects that combine compelling storytelling with the potential to engage audiences eager for bold, meaningful cinema.

His approach blends creative stewardship with operational discipline, guiding projects from concept to screen while maintaining a clear focus on audience engagement, cultural relevance, and long-term asset value.

In an industry often driven by short-term trends, Van Dorn focuses on building projects with lasting cultural and commercial impact—stories designed not only to succeed in the moment, but to endure.

Michael Arrieta
Consultant

Michael Arrieta is a 25+ year veteran of the global entertainment industry and one of the executives most closely associated with the transformation of film distribution and monetization in the digital era. Over the course of his career, he has held senior leadership positions at both major studios and leading independent companies, including Sony Pictures Entertainment, 20th Century Fox, Morgan Creek Productions, and Relativity Media, where he has helped shape how filmed entertainment reaches audiences worldwide.

Arrieta’s work spans the release and distribution of more than 3,000 films, ranging from major studio blockbusters to independent features. Widely regarded as a strategist and industry innovator, he has consistently been at the forefront of new business models that have reshaped the economics of film and television.

During his 12-year tenure at Sony Pictures, Arrieta served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Sony Pictures’ Digital Division, where he helped lead the studio’s transition into the digital age. In that role he oversaw the creation and expansion of multiple divisions spanning digital distribution, OTT networks, online and mobile entertainment, digital production, gaming, advertising, and advanced technology platforms.

Under his leadership, Sony pioneered many of the early partnerships and licensing frameworks that now define modern entertainment distribution. Arrieta helped establish and manage distribution relationships with platforms including Apple/iTunes, Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, YouTube, Walmart/Vudu, and Microsoft, helping to build the digital revenue streams that now represent a cornerstone of the entertainment industry.

Earlier in his career at Sony, Arrieta served as Senior Vice President of Digital Sales and Marketing, where he oversaw global licensing, distribution, strategic partnerships, ad sales, and integrated promotions across Sony’s vast film and television library. During that time he led the development of hundreds of digital initiatives—including the launch of online networks, cross-platform games, and early digital distribution platforms that helped shape today’s streaming ecosystem.

Arrieta has also been a serial entrepreneur in the distribution and technology space. As founder and CEO of Big Air Studios, he built a next-generation film marketing and distribution company designed to help independent films reach audiences more efficiently in an increasingly fragmented marketplace. The company secured distribution agreements with more than 30 major outlets, including AMC Theatres, Cinemark, Redbox, Netflix, Amazon, Walmart, iTunes, Hulu, Showtime, DirecTV, and VUDU, enabling films to reach audiences across virtually every major platform and distribution window.

To address one of the film industry’s most persistent challenges—inefficient marketing and audience discovery—Arrieta partnered with Oracle to develop the industry’s first Big Data platform designed specifically for film distribution, enabling direct audience engagement, CRM-driven marketing, loyalty programs, and new revenue models designed to improve the economics of independent filmmaking.

He also founded Film Fresh, a digital retail platform offering more than 25,000 titles from major studios and independent distributors, providing seamless purchase, delivery, and playback across computers, mobile devices, connected televisions, and OTT platforms.

Earlier in his career, Arrieta held positions at 20th Century Fox and Morgan Creek Productions, and worked as a strategic consultant in the Entertainment Group at Price Waterhouse, advising major studios, production companies, and industry executives on accounting, tax, and business strategy.

Throughout his career, Arrieta has been widely recognized as a visionary strategist, dealmaker, and architect of modern distribution models, helping guide the industry through its transition from traditional theatrical and home video models into today’s digitally driven global marketplace.

He holds both a B.A. in Economics and an M.B.A. from UCLA, is a California Certified Public Accountant, and is a member of the Television Academy.

As a consultant to LeggoMan Productions, Arrieta provides strategic guidance on distribution strategy, market positioning, financing structures, and the evolving economics of independent film, helping ensure that the company’s projects are positioned to compete in the rapidly changing global entertainment landscape.
